THE BULKY AFFAIR

This is no article to set all obese one's right and get them to start dieting,exercising on the other hand it is an attempt at getting the scraggy one's to gain weight if possible.Just a feel good for us shapely one's.....and yes!! I am definitely in shape....who will disagree if i say round is a shape??
Who is talking about fat and thin people? Just healthy prosperous one's and the raw boned or frail ones.What would have happened to all the hour glass figures if not for us the inflated ones???Who would've appreciated them if not for us?

How does the breadth and width matter when you see a smiling face??Is'nt it a pleasure to watch them go rolling....oops walking!

Shot put could not have existed if not for the prosperous ones to lift it.

What is the need to deem skinny people beautiful???Good things always come in small (round) packages.

Full face with a smile looks lot better than a long face with a frown.

Threshold of stepping out
from days of gloom and laziness
found the task easier
when you came in with inspiration and appreciation
smoother the sail
clearer the thoughts
happier the moments
with giggles and laughter
Happiness knew no bounds.

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

The moment your tv is switched on from one channel to another you have products vying for your attention to acquire fair skin.Lots of advertisements shows us ways and means to obtain that colour which is "supposed" to please all.Yes ! here we are talking about fair complexion.Wondering whether anyone has given it a thought as to why we are referred to as the fairer sex?Is it because we are fair as a person?In that case it sounds good or is it referred to our complexion?When it is so,not quite "FAIR" to all those black beauties out there. "Black is beautiful"is something we hear and read about generally.If after all this beauty still means fair skin then how do we explain 2001 Ms. World from Nigeria???
Colour hardly matters but it is the person that you are which is important.Then why this hype about fair skin?Blemishless skin is great but not necessary to have a fair complexion.
Do i get some kind of support here????

FEELINGS

Dark clouds on a sunny day
are like feelings incarcerated
waiting to break free
from the shambles.
And like a rainbow after a rain storm
life is full of colours after a lull
breeze cool against face
blessed feelings and thoughts
happy be those
who can smile through woes .

REVELATION

Gone are those days when women used to be the epitome of patience,sacrifices.....Now you've the modern woman, the 21st century woman excelling in all walks of life.But the question is how many of us can really call ourselves the women of today??
As for me it is sad but quite a revelation that years have gone by and when i look back wonder,"what have i achieved?"Definitely a great family but is that all to life?Are we satisified with that alone? Each one of us want to do something in life that we enjoy,rt? How many of us have been able to?Happiness is a relative term.And literally(on a lighter note) it sure does depend at times on your relatives.
One morning woke up realising that i'm capable and going to to make a difference in my life.If i don't help myself no one else will and dare to.It is all about doing what you like and enjoying what you do. Growing up years you are busy pleasing your elders and from there starts the art of pleasing.With some of us it goes to such an extent that you are constantly trying to please the whole world. Is it possible to survive pleasing everyone?And if everyone is happy with us then it surely indicates that we have made a lot of compromises in our life.Do you think it is required?Inspite of all this there is a question which arises time and again "why do we end up hurting the people we love? Take for granted near and dear ones?"
You always have people pointing out what is right and wrong. But who has set the parameters as to what is right and wrong? Knowingly or unknowingly you end up losing confidence.
Are any of us perfect so as to point a finger at others?Why are the decisions taken doubted?
Living a life of satisfaction doesn't mean lots of money, power, equality... or carving a niche in society but it is all about doing what you enjoy without hurting others.
At some point in your life these thoughts and doubts will arise and once you find an answer just pull up your socks and go for it. Don't give yourself another chance to wake up and regret and wish you could undo all what has happened!!
These are just thoughts of mine am voicing.....if even one person gets thinking nothing like it.

Readable?? or Unreadable??

Iam not a writer par excellence-which you and i know and realised by now.This collection of mine are just words and thoughts which flow when am lost in trance.After couple of them did i notice that YES! these words when put togther does seem poetry somewhere along the way.Never intended to create a blog and make it public.But what has to happen HAPPENS!!!and lo,there starts my responsibility.... and to bring out the poet within is difficult as it pops up not many a times.some of you who if not by choice but chance wanders in here...me not the one to disappoint.This morning decided to put pen to paper(would be better if i say fingers to keyboard!!!) and bring out something which is for you to decide whether it is readable or unreadable.Whatever your decision be, my mission has been accomplished for you have already spared few minutes and gone through this so as to pass judgement Readable ??? or Unreadable????
